Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) is fast becoming a huge issue in the UK for tree owners and the public. The moths nest as caterpillars in large clumps on stems and branches of Oak trees, more noticeable in built up metropolitan areas.

The caterpillars themselves and the nests they leave behind are highly irritant due to the microscopic hairs that inflame the skin and can cause respiratory issues to those sitting below affected trees.

These pests need to be treated and removed with very specific systems and processes to successfully dispose of the bio hazardous waste, and prevent them from re-infecting.
